Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Market Strategist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of market trends and competitor analysis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the market and competitors, providing insights to anticipate competitor strategies and enabling proactive decision-making and planning.

The role involves facilitating and driving the monthly planning cycle (S&OP), ensuring efficiency, accurate understanding, and effective planning to mitigate any potential opportunity losses or costs.

You will gain an in-depth understanding of the business, ensuring optimal planning for industry trends, volume, market share, and contributing high-quality input into key business milestones.

Responsibilities include coordinating the development of integrated long-term macroeconomic forecasts for the total tobacco market, short-term forecasts, and competitive business scenarios to inform corporate and marketing plans.

You will identify and propose opportunities for process improvement to enhance the effectiveness of market and industry insights generation.

Apart from this, you will continuously enhance current tools and methodologies to improve the analysis of information.

Requirements
  1. Minimum of 2 years' experience in the tobacco industry or a similar FMCG category.
  2. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Statistics, Business Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
  3. Effective communication skills, including strong negotiation and influencing abilities.
  4. Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to lead and execute projects effectively.
  5. Excellent presentation skills, with the capacity to convey complex information in a clear and compelling manner.
  6. Proficiency in forecasting techniques and competitor analysis.

Familiarity with marketing planning processes and the ability to conduct both quantitative and qualitative analysis is a must.
