Facility Operations Manager

About the Role:

The Facility Operations Manager plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of project facilities. This position oversees maintenance, operations, and management, guaranteeing a safe, efficient, and productive environment for all.

Key Responsibilities:Maintenance and Operations
  1. Manage Daily Operations: Oversee daily facility operations, including routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality.
  2. Supervise Staff: Directly supervise security, maintenance staff, and contractors to guarantee effective execution of tasks.
  3. Predictive Maintenance: Develop and implement predictive maintenance programs to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
Facility Management
  1. Budget Oversight: Manage facility budgets, including capital expenditures and operating expenses, ensuring prudent financial management.
  2. Security and Access: Ensure facility security, access control, and emergency preparedness measures are in place to safeguard personnel and assets.
  3. Services Coordination: Oversee janitorial, landscaping, and waste management services to maintain a clean and healthy work environment.
Administrative Tasks
  1. Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and manage facility-related reports and documentation, providing critical insights for informed decision-making.
  2. Interdepartmental Coordination: Collaborate with sub-departments to address facility-related needs, fostering seamless communication and teamwork.
  3. Policy Enforcement: Develop and enforce facility policies and procedures, promoting a culture of accountability and adherence to standards.
  4. Regular Inspections: Conduct regular facility inspections to identify areas for improvement and optimize operational efficiency.
Safety and Compliance
  1. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, protecting the organization from potential liabilities.
  2. Emergency Preparedness: Develop and implement comprehensive emergency response plans to mitigate risks and ensure business continuity.
  3. Safety Training: Provide safety training and drills to employees, emphasizing the importance of workplace safety and well-being.
  4. Sustainability Initiatives: Manage environmental sustainability initiatives, promoting eco-friendly practices and reducing the organization's carbon footprint.
Communication and Collaboration
  1. Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with stakeholders, including employees, owners, tenants, and vendors, to foster strong relationships and resolve issues effectively.
  2. Communication: Communicate facility-related information to occupants, ensuring transparency and open communication channels.
  3. Event Planning: Collaborate with departments for event planning and coordination, ensuring smooth execution and minimal disruption to operations.
  4. Contractor Relationships: Foster positive relationships with contractors and service providers, promoting timely delivery of services and cost-effective solutions.
