Transportation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced transportation professional to join our team in Gujrat. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials from one location to another, following all safety regulations and ensuring timely delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and drive trucks to transport goods and materials
• Plan routes and make necessary adjustments for traffic or construction delays
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck, ensuring its safety and maintenance
• Document and log work/rest periods, kilometers driven, fuel consumption, etc.
• Follow all traffic laws and regulations while operating the truck
• Communicate with dispatchers, warehouse staff, and clients to coordinate deliveries
• Keep truck clean, tidy, and well-maintained

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a transportation professional
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
• Clean driving record with no violations or accidents
• Ability to drive long hours and travel long distances on a regular basis
• Familiarity with GPS devices and electronic logging systems is a plus
• Physically fit with good hand-eye coordination
• Time-management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
