Job Overview:

The role of a Cybersecurity Specialist is to safeguard applications, data, and systems from potential security threats and vulnerabilities. This position requires in-depth technical expertise and proactive security measures to maintain the integrity, confidentiality, and availability of our applications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Conducting comprehensive security assessments.
  2. Exploiting recognized vulnerabilities and discovering new ones.
  3. Analyzing and auditing the source code of web/mobile applications.
  4. Proficiency in scripting, Unix operating systems, and Windows.
  5. Proficient in Linux operating system configuration, utilities, and programming.
  6. Manual external and internal penetration testing.
  7. Penetration testing/vulnerabilities assessment for cloud-based web, desktop, and mobile apps.
  8. Static and dynamic code testing, manual code inspection, threat modeling, and design reviews to identify vulnerabilities and security defects.
  9. Staying up-to-date with the latest methods for ethical hacking and testing.
  10. Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders.
  11. Assisting in security operational tasks.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Information/Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering with majors in Information Security.
  2. A minimum of 1-5 years of relevant experience.
  3. Good understanding of security tools and technologies for performing penetration testing.
  4. Familiarity with different coding languages.
  5. Experience in testing business-critical environments.
  6. CEH Master or Certified in Cyber Security or Jr. Penetration Tester (THM) certifications.
  7. Strong understanding of information security and applied cryptographic protocols.
  8. Knowledge of security technologies for secure software development, such as cryptography, authentication techniques, and protocols.
  9. Familiarity with OWASP top ten vulnerabilities.
