Job Title: Radiology Team Lead

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Radiology Team Lead to oversee the daily operations of our radiology department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership and Management: Demonstrate strong leadership and management skills to guide and direct team members effectively.
  • Cohesive Work Environment: Foster a positive and cohesive work environment among radiology staff, promoting open communication and collaboration.
  • Performance Evaluation: Evaluate team member performance, provide coaching, monitor progress, and direct orientation to ensure they meet job requirements.
  • Workload Management: Oversee and assign workload requirements for daily operations at multiple locations, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Safety and Maintenance: Control inventory, maintain equipment, and perform regular maintenance tasks to prevent malfunctions and downtime.
  • Patient Care: Maintain proficiency in radiologic procedures, assess patient needs, and address concerns or grievances from patients, staff, and physicians.
  • Policy Implementation: Assist in developing, interpreting, and implementing departmental policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, interacting professionally with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, administration, and financial staff.
  • Training and Competence: Ensure staff is trained and competent, documenting effects on patient care and maintaining records accordingly.
  • Staffing and Quality Improvement: Continuously monitor staffing levels, adjust as necessary, and lead quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical care and financial objectives.
  • Internal Controls and Compliance: Identify and implement internal controls to monitor and enforce compliance with departmental policies and procedures.
  • Project Management: Collaborate on projects to achieve timely resolutions and complete assignments according to agreed deadlines.
  • Revenue and Expense Management: Monitor revenue and expense budgets, taking action to ensure practice stays within budget guidelines.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • 8-10 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • Maximum 4-5 years of experience in the same position.
