Responsibilities:
  • Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the team, ensuring that we always deliver software of the highest standards.
  • Architecture and Design: Collaborate with other Leads and Seniors to ensure that we design and implement systems that are highly scalable and available.
  • Team Management: Hire A-players to build High Performing Teams, constantly raising the bar of engineering talent.
  • KPIs and Business Impact: Own our business KPIs as a conduit to our Product team and business functions.
  • Tech Vision and Strategy: Impact the direction and scope of Dubizzle's technical vision within your stream.
Requirements:
  • 9+ years of software engineering experience.
  • In-depth understanding of Javascript and ReactJS.
  • Source code control, build process management, CI/CD, automated testing, and other development processes.
  • Good understanding of leadership, coaching, and mentoring principles.
