We are seeking a skilled Technical Proposal Writer to join our team, responsible for drafting and editing technical proposals, collaborating with technical teams and sales, and maintaining a centralized library of reusable content. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technical writing, excellent communication skills, and a good understanding of cybersecurity concepts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Draft and edit technical proposals in response to RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs in the cybersecurity domain.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, sales, and leadership to gather accurate and relevant input for proposal content.
  • Translate complex cybersecurity concepts into clear, persuasive language that resonates with clients.
  • Ensure all proposals are compliant with client requirements and submission guidelines.
  • Maintain a centralized library of reusable content, including templates, presentations, technical documentation, case studies, and boilerplate text.
  • Review proposal drafts for clarity, consistency, and grammatical accuracy.
  • Assist in creating supporting sales documents such as service overviews and capability statements.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, English, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of experience in technical proposal writing, preferably in the IT or cybersecurity industry.
  • Good understanding of cybersecurity concepts, terminology, and services.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, especially in translating technical content into business-friendly language.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with industry standards and compliance frameworks (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR).
  • Previous experience working with MSSPs or cybersecurity service providers.
  • Knowledge of proposal development tools and content management systems.
