About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Magento Developer who excels in their craft and can hit the ground running.

This is a middle to senior level full stack PHP developer position that involves leading the development of all ecommerce websites and building a team around you.

As a key member of our organization, you will be at the forefront of innovation, leveraging the latest technology to drive business success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work effectively in a collaborative software development lifecycle, prioritizing timely task completion and high-quality deliverables.
  • Provide detailed estimates for development efforts, including analysis, programming, and testing.
  • Create custom themes from UX/UI specifications and web design comps.
  • Extend core Magento features and develop new custom Magento features.
  • Install, evaluate, code-audit, and update third-party Magento extensions.
  • Lead a team of Magento Developers with proven expertise.
  • Collaborate with Technical Architects to implement and deploy Magento solutions.
  • Consult directly with clients on progress, challenges, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Participate in sales presentations as a technical expert.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent; Master's preferred.
  • 5+ years of Object-Oriented PHP Development experience.
  • 3+ years of HTML, CSS, JavaScript (jQuery or Prototype) experience.
  • 2+ years of Magento Community or Enterprise Editions experience.
Tech Stack
  • Programming languages: PHP, JavaScript, SQL.
  • Servers/Platforms: LAMP, Apache.
  • Source Controls: Git.
  • Databases: MySQL.
  • Interface Protocols & Standards: XML-RPC, SOAP, Ajax, jQuery, Web Services.
