Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee the successful delivery of our construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, with experience in leading high-profile construction projects from inception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Ensure all construction projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.
  • Planning and Scheduling: Develop and maintain project schedules, coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure timely completion of all construction activities.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project budgets, manage resources effectively, and ensure that all expenditures align with project requirements.
  • Team Coordination: Lead and supervise construction teams, including subcontractors and laborers, to ensure efficient and productive work.
  • Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control procedures to ensure that all work meets the required standards.
  • Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure that all construction activities comply with health and safety regulations, addressing any issues that may arise.
  • Client Communication: Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, providing regular updates on project progress and addressing any concerns.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Education: Diploma of Associate Engineering (DAE) in Civil Engineering.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, preferably in a management role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Software: Familiarity with construction management software and tools is an advantage.
