Job Title: Junior WordPress Developer

A talented and motivated individual is sought after to fill the role of Junior WordPress Developer. This position involves assisting in the creation and development of high-quality WordPress-based websites and web applications.

In this capacity, you will collaborate with the UI/UX designer to implement and develop responsive website designs that provide an optimal user experience across different devices and browsers.

Additionally, you will be responsible for developing custom WordPress themes according to project requirements, as well as customizing and enhancing existing themes to meet specific project needs.

  • Coding skills are essential in this role, and we are looking for a professional with expertise in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Proficiency in WordPress theme and plugin development is also necessary, as well as knowledge of frontend frameworks and libraries such as React or Vue.js.

We require strong problem-solving and debugging skills, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential in this role.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities:
  1. Collaborate with the UI/UX designer to implement and develop responsive website designs.
  2. Developing custom WordPress themes according to project requirements.
  3. Customize and enhance existing WordPress themes to meet specific project needs.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or bugs that arise during the development process.
  5. Conduct website performance optimization to ensure fast page loading times and smooth user interactions.
  6. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration of the frontend and backend components.
  7. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices related to WordPress development.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Proven experience as a PHP Developer, with expertise in WordPress theme development.
  • Strong proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript/jQuery, and MySQL.
  • Extensive knowledge of WordPress, including theme and plugin development.
  • Experience with frontend frameworks and libraries (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development workflows.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality work within deadlines.
