Fumigation Specialist

The Fumigation Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining a safe environment by performing fumigation and pest control treatments in various settings. Ensuring compliance with safety standards and effective pest elimination procedures is essential.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out fumigation, spraying, and pest control treatments according to established procedures and client requirements.
  • Inspect premises to identify pest infestations and treatment needs, ensuring timely interventions.
  • Safely handle, mix, and apply fumigants, pesticides, and related chemicals, adhering to health and safety protocols.
  • Seal and prepare treatment areas to ensure effective and safe fumigation, minimizing risks and disruptions.
  • Monitor treated areas and provide follow-up services when required, ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records of chemicals used, service reports, and client feedback, facilitating data-driven decision making.
  • Comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations during fumigation activities, upholding the organization's commitment to sustainability.
  • Safely operate fumigation equipment, protective gear, and application machinery, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Educate clients on preventive measures for pest control, promoting long-term solutions and partnerships.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Possess knowledge of fumigation techniques, pest control procedures, and chemical handling, staying updated on industry best practices.
  • Ability to read and follow safety data sheets (SDS) and product labels, demonstrating a strong focus on safety and compliance.
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and safety awareness, prioritizing the well-being of clients, staff, and the environment.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, building trust and rapport with clients and stakeholders.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to diverse situations and priorities.
  • Physically fit and able to work in confined spaces or outdoor conditions, requiring flexibility and resilience.
