
Digital Learning Specialist

Key Responsibilities:
- Capacity Building: Train teachers and students on digital education tools, providing hands-on support.
- Technology Integration: Assist teachers and students in using Smart Classrooms, Chromebooks, and digital tools; train educators on EdTech solutions.
- Evaluation & Assessment: Conduct evaluations of tech deployment in schools, assess readiness, and measure effectiveness.
- Data Collection & Reporting: Collect data on technology adoption, engagement, and challenges; prepare regular reports.
- Technical Assistance: Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues to ensure smooth digital learning.
- Collaboration & Improvement: Work with stakeholders to enhance digital learning and recommend tech integration improvements.
Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Educational Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience in EdTech, IT support, digital learning, or technology integration in education.
- Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in working with educational hardware such as Smart Boards, Interactive Screens, and Chromebooks. Familiarity with open-source and free-license educational tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Ability to engage with diverse stakeholders including school administrators, teachers, and students.
As a Monitoring and Evaluation Fellow, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in several areas, including capacity building, technology integration, evaluation and assessment, data collection and reporting, technical assistance, and collaboration and improvement.
Through this role, you will gain hands-on experience with digital education tools, assist in deploying these tools in public schools, and work closely with teachers and students to ensure a smooth transition.
You will also have the opportunity to evaluate the effectiveness of these deployments and make recommendations for improvement.
In addition, you will work closely with educators to enhance their understanding of EdTech solutions and collaborate with stakeholders to improve digital learning.
This role requires strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders, including school administrators, teachers, and students.
