Job Title: Tax Senior Associate for Estate and Administrative Trusts

We are seeking an experienced tax professional to join our team in a senior associate role, focusing on fiduciary income tax returns for administrative trusts and estates. This role offers a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in trust and estate taxation to drive business growth and client satisfaction.

About the Role:
  • Prepare, review, and analyze fiduciary income tax returns for administrative trusts and estates, including Form 1041, Form 706, and other relevant forms.
  • Manage a book of business and/or supervise the production of tax return preparation by junior tax professionals.
  • Utilize cutting-edge technologies, such as Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform, to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Communicate proactively with management regarding potential issues and contribute to the enhancement of the team's tax technical acumen.
  • Respond to inquiries from taxing authorities and maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax technical developments.
Requirements:
  • Minimum three years of recent public accounting experience or equivalent working with income tax returns for administrative trusts and estates.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business, accounting, finance, or taxation.
  • Must have or be pursuing state-specific education requirements for a licensed Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA).
  • Experience using Thomson Reuters OneSource Trust Tax platform and intermediate knowledge of the Internal Revenue Code as it relates to trusts and estates.
  • Excellent communication, time management, and leadership skills, with the ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities.
