Commercial Underwriter Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Underwriter to join our organization.

About the Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for analyzing, evaluating, and pricing commercial business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze and evaluate commercial business deals to determine their viability and potential revenue streams.
  • Market and negotiate new business terms and conditions with clients and partners.
  • Assist with the appointment of new agencies and ensure seamless integration into our operations.
  • Develop and implement growth and profitability plans to drive business expansion.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years of commercial underwriting experience, preferably more than 3 years.
  • In-depth understanding of agency management opportunities and how to capitalize on them.
  • Demonstrated leadership qualities and ability to motivate teams.
