Job Overview

This position requires expertise in either Objective C or Swift, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in either programming language.

  • Taking product requirements into account, the ideal candidate will size effort and consider technical architecture impacts.
  • The primary developer for the iOS codebase, this individual will be responsible for code reviewing junior iOS developers' work.
  • Building unit tests for their own work and performing peer code reviews.
  • Deploying code safely into a production environment.
Key Skills and Qualifications
  • Proficient in either Objective C or Swift, with at least 2 years' experience in either.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Core iOS libraries, including Animation, Data, etc.
  • Experience integrating with 3rd party APIs, such as Twilio, Twitter, Facebook, Realm, etc.
  • Familiarity with platforms like GitHub and Cocoa Pods.
  • Bonus skills: Experience contributing to open-source projects on GitHub, having iOS applications available in the App Store, or working in Agile environments using SCRUM methodology.
  • A keen learner, able to adapt quickly to new frameworks and platforms.
  • Strong academic background and excellent problem-solving capabilities.
  • Good understanding of REST APIs and XML, with an interest in Design and Consumer UX.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities

  • Developing and maintaining high-quality iOS applications.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and implement features.
  • Mentoring junior developers and providing guidance on best practices.
  • Identifying and mitigating technical risks.
