Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled Protection Advocate to join our team. As a Protection Advocate, you will be responsible for introducing our services to marginalized and vulnerable communities, conducting community awareness-raising sessions, and facilitating the formation of community-based volunteers' groups.

About the Role
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international refugee law, including the 1951 Refugee Convention and its 1967 Protocol. They should also possess excellent communication skills to convey legal information and project goals to displaced Afghan nationals and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct community awareness-raising sessions on human rights and refugee rights.
  • Facilitate the formation of community-based volunteers' groups.
  • Mobilize refugees' communities towards our program activities.
  • Liaise with government agencies and NGOs to ensure access to services for refugees.


Requirements
  • Strong understanding of international refugee law.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Experience working with displaced Afghan nationals is preferred.
