Job Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for performing serological tests, processing and analyzing patient samples, receiving, labeling and storing biological specimens, preparing samples for testing, following quality control procedures, operating, maintaining and troubleshooting lab equipment, and maintaining accurate lab records and data entry in LIMS.
  • Additionally, the professional will follow SOPs, health and safety regulations, assist in training junior staff and participate in professional development, collaborate with lab staff and healthcare professionals, and may be exposed to biohazardous materials and infectious agents.
Detailed Responsibilities
  1. Perform serological tests (ELISA, agglutination, rapid immunoassays)
  2. Process and analyze patient samples for various conditions
  3. Receive, label, and store biological specimens
  4. Prepare samples for testing (centrifugation, aliquoting, reagent preparation)
  5. Follow quality control procedures to ensure test accuracy
  6. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot lab equipment
  7. Maintain accurate lab records and data entry in LIMS
  8. Follow SOPs, health, and safety regulations
  9. Assist in training junior staff and participate in professional development
  10. Collaborate with lab staff and healthcare professionals
