Airframe and Engine Technician Position

This technician role plays a critical part in the maintenance of aircraft, focusing on airframes, engines, and their related systems. The chosen candidate will have a solid understanding of maintenance procedures, along with excellent problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be comfortable working under pressure, collaborating with colleagues, and contributing to a positive work environment.

  • Key responsibilities include:
  • - Servicing, inspecting, and repairing airframes, engines, and their associated components.
  • - Carrying out walk-around checks with licensed aircraft engineers, identifying defects and required repairs.
  • - Collaborating with team members to resolve complex issues and ensure aircraft readiness for operations.
  • - Staying up-to-date with manufacturer documentation, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.


Essential Skills and Experience

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess relevant technical qualifications, such as an apprenticeship in aircraft maintenance or equivalent training. Previous experience in an approved aircraft maintenance organization or as an engineer aircraft maintenance license holder is highly valued. Additional requirements include airport driving permit, familiarity with airport safety regulations, and the ability to lift heavy loads. Effective communication and teamwork are also essential.
