BCM Specialist

As a highly skilled Business Continuity professional, you will play a critical role in ensuring the continuity of our business operations. Your expertise will be invaluable in maintaining our organization's resilience and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive Business Continuity Management System to ensure alignment with international standards and best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to our business operations, and collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize risks and develop mitigation strategies.
• Perform business impact analysis to identify critical resources, including maximum tolerable downtime, recovery time objective and recovery point objective.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive business continuity plans, procedures, and documentation to ensure the effectiveness of continuity measures.
• Establish and manage incident response, crisis management and disaster recovery framework to mitigate the impact of disruptions.
• Coordinate and conduct regular drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of continuity and response plans, and analyze results to identify areas for improvement.
• Provide training to employees on business continuity principles, procedures, and their roles in a disruption.
• Foster a culture of preparedness and resilience across the organization, ensuring that all relevant documentation is up-to-date and accessible to key stakeholders.
• Plan and conduct regular internal audits to assess compliance with ISO 22301 standards, and collaborate with department heads to address and rectify non-conformities identified during audits.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Continuity Management, Risk Management, or a related field.
• Certification in Business Continuity Management (e.g., CBCP - Certified Business Continuity Professional) is highly desirable.
• 2+ years of proven experience in developing, implementing, and managing business continuity plans within an ISO 22301 framework.
• Strong understanding of risk management principles and methodologies, excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage complex processes and projects, familiarity with regulatory requirements related to business continuity.

This is a full-time position that requires working from our office in Rawalpindi. The work schedule is 10pm-9pm (UK Time 8am to 5pm). Ability to commute from Rawalpindi is required, and relocation to Rawalpindi before starting work is also mandatory.
