Android Software Engineer Position

We are seeking skilled Android software engineers to contribute to the development of high-visibility consumer applications.

The successful candidate will work on a range of projects, focusing on internal and client-specific initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop advanced Android applications using the latest technologies and programming languages.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
  • Work with external data sources and APIs to enhance application functionality and user experience.
  • Write unit tests to ensure robustness, usability, and reliability of the application.
  • Fix bugs and improve application performance by optimizing code and implementing best practices.
  • Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance development efficiency and productivity.
  • Detect and correct memory usage issues to optimize code for performance and efficiency.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in Android software development, including published original Android apps.
  • Familiarity with Android SDK, RESTful APIs, JSON data formats, third-party libraries, and other relevant technologies.
  • Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with geo-centric applications featuring location check-in, geo-fencing, and location-based searches.
