Job Description:

The Study Abroad Advisor will be responsible for reaching out to prospective students, providing guidance and support throughout the application process, and maintaining a high conversion rate. This role requires excellent communication skills, a passion for education, and a focus on delivering exceptional results.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Proactively engage with prospective students through various communication channels to inform, encourage, and guide them about opportunities to study abroad.
  2. Respond to inbound inquiries from students and parents regarding study abroad programs, providing detailed information on destinations, universities, courses, application procedures, costs, scholarships, and visa requirements.
  3. Help students understand their academic and career goals, aligning them with suitable study abroad options.
  4. Convince students about the value and benefits of studying abroad, including career growth, cultural exposure, and academic development.
  5. Guide students through the entire application process, assisting with form submissions, document preparation, and deadline tracking.
  6. Address queries related to documentation, requirements, and program details.
  7. Maintain a high conversion rate by persuading students to commit to applying for and enrolling in study abroad programs.
  8. Analyze student feedback to contribute to the improvement of program strategies and counselling techniques.

Requirements:

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

  1. Experience in sales, student counselling, or working in an education consultancy role is advantageous.
  2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students and parents.
  3. Strong sales and persuasive skills to encourage students to consider study abroad programs.
