Video Editor

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented video editor to join our team. As a key member of our content creation team, you will be responsible for editing and enhancing pre-existing video content, resizing videos to fit various platforms, and adapting and localizing content for different audiences.

  • Edit and enhance pre-existing video content to ensure a polished and professional final product.
  • Adjust video dimensions and formats to fit various platforms and requirements while maintaining quality and visual integrity.
  • Adapt and localize video content for different audiences by adding subtitles, translating text, and modifying graphics as needed.
  • Create concise cut-down versions of longer videos to emphasize key messages and maintain viewer engagement.
  • Evaluate accuracy in all edits, checking for consistency in branding, audio levels, and overall quality.
  • Collaborate closely with the content and marketing teams to understand project goals and deliver videos that meet their specifications.
  • Integrate feedback from clients/leads to refine edits and enhance the final product.
  • Organize and maintain video assets and project files to ensure efficient workflows.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in video editing preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in video editing software.
  • Strong understanding of video formats, resolutions, and compression methods.
  • Experience in localization processes and tools is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to meet deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and basic animation.
  • Experience in audio editing and sound design.
  • Knowledge of current trends in video content and digital media.
