Job Title:

E-commerce Integration Specialist

About the Role:
  • This role involves integrating directly into our client's team and working alongside their existing designers and engineers on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Integrate Shopify APIs to build custom applications.
  • Design and develop user interfaces using React, Tailwind, and Vite.
  • Work with Node.js and TypeScript to create scalable server-side logic.
  • Use Liquid templating and custom theme work to enhance store functionality.
  • Deploy apps to Google Cloud and work with authentication methods such as OAuth in Shopify apps.
  • Implement Subscriptions and integrate new customer accounts.
  • Perform unit and integration testing using tools like Jest or Playwright.
  • Maintain continuous integration and delivery of applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
Requirements:
  • Advanced knowledge of professional e-commerce development experience.
  • Strong experience building Node.js apps with TypeScript.
  • Solid understanding of Shopify APIs.
  • Familiarity with modern frontend tools (React, Tailwind, Vite, etc.).
  • Proficiency with Git and GitHub workflows (branches, pull requests, code reviews).
  • Working knowledge of performance optimization, SEO, and accessibility standards.
  • Familiarity with Shopify Partner Dashboard, billing APIs, and app publishing.
  • Deploying apps to Google Cloud is a plus.
  • Integrating new customer accounts and implementing Subscriptions is desirable.
  • Ability to work through new and difficult issues and contribute to libraries as needed.
  • A positive mindset and a can-do attitude.
  • Experience working on Agile / Scrum teams.
  • Meaningful experience working on large systems.
  • Forensic attention to detail.
