Your Role - International, Challenging, And Future-Oriented

As a Commercial Project Manager in our Electrification and Automation Business Unit, you will be responsible for controlling and commercially managing projects in the Saudi Arabian region. This includes revenue recognition, project cost management, contract management, accounting, cash flow management, opportunity and risk management, foreign currency management, monitoring of bank guarantees, and project-specific insurance.

  1. Effectively manage commercial projects, encompassing all functions of project controlling, including timely submission of invoices and other claims to customers, along with proper follow-up for fast processing.
  2. Develop a project controlling module/tool to prepare current cost calculations, mapping of actual status, forecast, cash in/out, billings, collections, etc., on an item-by-item basis for better controlling and forecasting of project results.
  3. Forecast quality, with emphasis on meeting forecasts every month, quarter, and annually.
  4. Ensure submission of feedback/responses by defined timelines, such as forecast preparation, NCC reporting, and review of projects' midterm calculations as required frequency.
  5. Submit closing documents and information (JVs, advance adjustments, receivables adjustments, time sheet booking, receivables due date changes, etc.) along with proper documentation before month-end closing. Also, adhere to other activities defined in the closing schedule.
  6. Update current cost calculations in Spiridon, book GRs and billing in the system.
  7. Maintain and update the risk and opportunity register.
  8. Maintain a list of claims, such as variation orders, escalations, duties/taxes, etc.
  9. Control advances, guarantees, and LCs towards customers and suppliers/contractors.
  10. Maintain purchase orders (issued and balance ordering lists backed by supporting) and review committed costs fully.
  11. Timely payment to suppliers-pending invoices status to CPMs in AIMS tool. Making urgent payment requests.
  12. Coordinate with logistics and freight forwarder teams for shipment status-arranging timely shipping documents from various countries for custom clearance, goods, and invoice receipt, etc.
  13. Control inventory at sites, calculate foreign currency exposure, and hedge.
Qualifications and Skills - Digital and Solid
  1. ACCA or MBA Finance
  2. 5 years' experience in finance or controlling roles
  3. Experience in SAP would be advantageous.
  4. Ability to work in a multicultural workplace.
  5. Proficiency in both spoken and written English; Arabic language knowledge is an advantage.
  6. Good knowledge of MS Office, with expert knowledge of MS Excel.
