Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned reliability expert to join our Customer Reliability Engineering team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to become an Apache Airflow specialist, working closely with customers to ensure the smooth operation of their data workflows.

You will be responsible for providing expert-level support to customers, helping them optimize their configuration, identify issues, and implement solutions. Your expertise will enable customers to unlock the full potential of their data and make informed decisions.

About This Role

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert-level support to customers using Apache Airflow
  • Optimize customer configuration for maximum performance
  • Identify and resolve complex technical issues
  • Collaborate with customers to implement solutions and improve workflow efficiency

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or a related field
  • 4+ years of experience with Python programming language
  • 1+ year of experience with Kubernetes/Docker/Containers
  • Familiarity with Apache Airflow and its ecosystem
  • Experience working with distributed systems and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure)

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience managing Apache Airflow instances
  • Contributions to open-source projects, particularly Apache Airflow
  • Customer Support experience
  • Familiarity with SQL and PostgreSQL
  • Experience with Databricks, Snowflake, Redshift, dbt, or similar data engineering tools

  • Ability to work well with autonomy and independence
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
