  • Oversee the development and deployment of robust web pages, web applications, and APIs using cutting-edge technologies such as JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.

  • Maintain a high availability production environment with 5 nines or greater uptime.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as an engineer working on production software applications or websites, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Expertise in JavaScript, PHP, and WordPress.
  • Strong understanding of engineering workflow tools such as Git, GitHub, and build automation technologies.
  • Experience with React or similar JavaScript frameworks.
  • Intermediate knowledge of SEO best practices, page rank, PageSpeed, and core web vitals.
  • Basic experience with static website generators such as Jekyll, Next.js, Hugo, or Gatsby.
  • Working knowledge of Python including commonly used libraries such as BeautifulSoup, Pandas, and Django.
  • Understanding of adtech concepts such as HTML5 creative, GAM, prebid, RTB, IAB standards, programmatic advertising, and auction-based sales.
  • Able to build WordPress themes and plugins from scratch, create theme options, and utilize modern WordPress features such as Gutenberg.
  • Ability to build client-facing reporting tables and dashboards.
  • Inquisitive, tinkerer, open, ambitious, resourceful, and caring mindset.
Qualifications and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
