Video Editor Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Video Editor to create high-quality short-form content for various platforms. As a key member of our creative team, you will be responsible for editing reels and shorts using provided raw footage.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Edit video content for clients with precision and creativity.
  • Maintain a personal library of raw footage and develop innovative ideas to produce engaging content.
  • Research and apply relevant trends, creative references, transitions, captions, and effects to maximize engagement.
  • Collaborate with the creative team to meet content goals and ensure brand consistency.
  • Deliver high-quality edits while meeting tight deadlines.

Key Requirements:

  • 1–2 years of experience editing short-form social content.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing TikTok and Reels-style edits.
  • Proficiency in editing tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar.
  • Awareness of the latest social media trends and platform guidelines.
  • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Clear communication and a collaborative mindset.

Job Specifications:

  • 1–2 years editing TikTok, Reels, or Shorts.
  • Proficient in Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut, or similar.
  • Strong sense of trends, storytelling, and visual timing.
  • Able to add creative transitions, captions, and effects.
  • Good at syncing audio and basic sound edits.
  • Fast turnaround and organized with footage.
  • Clear communicator and responsive to feedback.
