Job Description

The role of the credit control specialist is to manage debt recovery and ensure timely payment from customers. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Follow-up on payments due and check against assigned credit limit/credit policy
  2. Investigate disputes and resolve discrepancies relating to non-payment of invoices
  3. Conduct new customers' financial background and reference checks to verify creditworthiness, and regular credit review for existing customers
  4. Liaise closely with internal stakeholders in monitoring collections and resolving customer payment issues

This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will have a minimum diploma or above and at least 3-5 years of experience in credit control.
