Job Overview

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, or Computer Science is required for this position.

This role will lead the delivery and sales/marketing teams to ensure that the product vision and direction are accurately defined, translated into the product roadmap, effectively communicated to the team, implemented flawlessly, and launched for success.

The ideal candidate must possess exceptional leadership skills, motivating the team to progress towards goals. A technical background with at least two product launches under their belt is required.

  • Lead the team to envision, implement, launch, and market new products.
  • New product development from ideation to implementation to launch.
  • Product research, vision setting, definition, and roadmap.
  • Translate product vision into high-level features and non-functional requirements. Project plan and project timeline estimations with the engineering team.
  • Oversee and manage product implementation.
  • Build and maintain product backlog.
  • Product release plans and successful delivery of new functionalities.
  • Launch in coordination with the marketing team.
  • Lead product sales in coordination with the sales team.
  • Revamp of existing products and other initiatives for business growth.
  • Research and analyze the market, conduct market studies, and users.
  • Identify, understand, and engage with the target market/user base to guide product decisions.
  • Handle and manage both software and hardware sides of the products.
  • Lead the engineering team in hardware tasks like circuit design, PCB design, validation, integration with other hardware etc.
  • Lead the engineering team in software tasks like software requirements specification, features identification and finalization, project planning, monitoring etc.
  • Coordinate, communicate, and negotiate with 3rd party vendors for purchase of goods or services.
  • Maintain strong relationships with partners, potential customers, and business stakeholders.
  • Proactively identify opportunities or obstacles concerning product delivery, features, marketing, and sales.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team for development of targeted marketing plans and surveys across all mediums.
  • Identify technology trends and evolving social behavior that may support or impede the success of the business.
  • Support process improvement and optimization including elimination of existing gaps in process and improved TATs through continuous review and frontline feedback.
Job Requirements

At least 4-6 years of experience in an IT/IoT/Automation product company is required.

  • 2-3 years of Product Management/Ownership experience with at least two product launches under your belt.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills in past jobs.
  • Experience managing small engineering/product teams.
  • Top written and verbal communication and presentation skills at all levels of an organization, including C-level at client organizations.
  • Experience working with cutting-edge technologies/platforms/languages like IoT, AWS, Azure, Python, Flutter, Machine Learning etc.
  • Experience with Scrum/Kanban is a plus.
  • Demonstrated aptitude to learn new technologies and processes.
  • Must be high energy and a self-starter who can take initiative confidently without waiting for instructions.
  • Sharp analytical and problem-solving skills are a must for this position.
