Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Accountant to join our Finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. The successful candidate will report to the Director of Finance and be responsible for managing and coordinating all aspects of accounting.

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze data creatively and innovatively. They will also possess excellent attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.

Duties and Responsibilities

The selected candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing and coordinating all aspects of accounting.
  • Preparing and issuing customer invoices.
  • Reconciling monthly invoice activity.
  • Managing supporting documentation for customer invoices.
  • Identifying and resolving intercompany discrepancies.

In addition, they will review Accounts Receivable (AR) aging reports, collaborate with the Sales Director to follow up on outstanding invoices, and handle customer account credits, return memos, and cash receipts.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, applicants must have:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role.
  • A finalist or qualified professional accountant certification or bachelor's degree in Accounting.
  • Knowledge of multi-currency transactions.
  • Proven experience in an accounting role, preferably with Microsoft Dynamics GP.
