Billing Excellence in Supply Chain Management

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Billing Officer – Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. This key role will be responsible for managing Purchase Orders, ensuring timely payments to suppliers, and enforcing control on Work Order processes.

The successful candidate will report to the Engineering Services Manager (ESSM) and work closely with the Supply Chain function to achieve our ambition of decreasing the health impact of our industry through innovative products like VELO, VUSE, and GLO.

Role Objectives:

  • Manage Purchase Orders and ensure timely payments to suppliers
  • Enforce control on Work Order processes
  • Manage capital expenditure
  • Administer contractors
  • Maintain records within the department

Leadership and Innovation:

The ideal candidate will lead and inspire contractors to perform at their best, developing suppliers and onsite contractors through training and aiming to achieve high standards of work quality and responsiveness.

They will also support the management of financials for engineering projects and bring clear, innovative ideas to improve service levels and projects in the department.

Relationship Building:

The successful candidate will build strong relationships with suppliers, contractors, and service-providing agencies, ensuring smooth and high-quality delivery of services.

They will demonstrate effective relationship management with internal customers, enabling improved service levels and velocity.

Essential Experience and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, or Maths
  • At least 2-3 years of experience in sourcing and managing contractors
  • Solid facilitation skills
  • Detail-oriented and analytical
  • Proven ability to persuade and influence senior stakeholders
