About the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Structural Engineering Professional to join our team. As a key member of our project team, you will be responsible for providing technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets, and specifications for contractors.
- Provide accurate technical guidance to ensure that construction projects meet design requirements.
- Collaborate with Senior Engineers to resolve conflicts in structural/architectural/mechanical/electrical drawings and specifications.
- Monitor and report on labor costs and material ledgers to ensure that quantities remaining in the estimate are sufficient to complete the project.
- Assist Project Managers by enforcing quality control and expediting subcontractors.
The successful candidate will have the following responsibilities:
- Inspect false work for conformance to design drawings.
- Monitor installation of rebar for conformance to structural drawings.
- Continually update drawings with changes as issued by Senior Engineers.
- Review shop drawings for conformance with the contract and ensure information is communicated to Project staff and Project Manager.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in engineering software and technology.
