Job Title: DevOps Infrastructure Specialist

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly skilled DevOps Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based infrastructure. This includes designing, implementing, and testing agreed-upon infrastructures.

You will work closely with development engineering to create and deploy a CI/CD infrastructure. You will automate deployment of Linux applications, system configurations, and security settings. Additionally, you will deploy and support applications in a cloud environment.

Your expertise in infrastructure security will ensure that our environments are secure, reliable, scalable, and automated. You will provide direct server support during various operations such as deployment and general production. You will also collaborate with developers to ensure new environments meet requirements and conform to best practices.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in professional industry
  • DevOps - familiarity with DevOps practices and automation tooling
  • Virtualization - facility with techniques used to virtualize servers, applications, and desktops
  • Experience with open-source tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Dockers, Ansible, Chef, Terraform
  • Experience with infrastructure tools like Terraform and Cloud Formation
  • Exposure working with cloud platforms Azure, GCP, or AWS
  • Basic level scripting experience (Python, Ruby, Bash, Powershell)
  • Experience with Linux distributions (Rhel 8, CentOS, Ubuntu, Amazon Linux)
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
