A professional PHP developer will play a crucial role in developing the web application logic on the backend components and integrating different plug-ins and frontend work with the applications, connecting third-party web services. **Responsibilities and Duties:**

  • Integrate user-facing elements developed by front-end developers into the system.
  • Build efficient, testable, and reusable PHP modules that meet the highest standards.
  • Solve complex performance problems and architectural challenges that arise during development.
  • Integrate data storage solutions to ensure seamless data management.
  • Have strong knowledge of common PHP or web server exploits and their solutions.
  • Understand fundamental design principles behind a scalable application and apply them to our projects.
  • User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments.
  • Integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system.
  • Familiarity with limitations of PHP as a platform and its workarounds.
  • Create database schemas that represent and support business processes.
  • Familiarity with SQL databases and their declarative query languages.
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools, such as Git.
  • Create effective, flexible, reusable, testable, and scalable PHP code.
  • Analysis of application needs and website requirements from teams and clients.
  • Build design and layout of apps, websites.
  • Define, and maintain databases.
  • Code maintenance and enhancement.
  • Payment gateway integration with eCommerce portals.
  • Set coding standards and connect applications with third-party web services.
  • Seamless integration of data storage solutions and user-facing elements.
  • Resolve complicated performance issues and architectural problems.
  • Write well-designed backend code and create backend portals with PHP modules.
  • Adhere to industry's standard best practices.
  • Ensure testing and maintenance for optimized code.
  • Prepare accurate documentation for different tools and services.
  • Code deployment to live environment.
