We are seeking an exceptional individual to fill the role of Senior Academic Professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and conducting research in a specified field, contributing to the academic excellence of our institution.

Key Responsibilities
  • Teaching: Deliver high-quality lectures and tutorials to undergraduate and postgraduate students, developing and implementing curriculum content and assessment strategies.
  • Research: Engage in original research, publishing papers in reputable journals and presenting at conferences, advancing knowledge in the chosen field.
  • Service: Contribute to departmental and institutional service, participating in committee work, mentoring students, and collaborating with colleagues on various projects.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • PhD in one of the fields mentioned below from an HEC-recognized university.
  • English Linguistics / English Literature (PhD in Literature / Linguistics / Cultural Studies).

Publications and Experience

  • The candidate must have the publications and experience as per HEC criteria for faculty appointments.

Terms and Conditions:

  • Candidates are required to attach scanned copies of their academic/professional documents.
  • The last education certificate/degree must be attested/verified by HEC.

Ineligibility Criteria:

  • 3rd division in academic career or weak academic profile.
  • NUST employees with less than one year of service or without an NOC from the Head of Institution.
  • Candidates in the process of pursuing the required degree.
  • Medically unfit candidates.
  • Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and issued an offer letter.
  • Candidates serving in government departments or armed forces may apply after obtaining an NOC from their respective organizations.

Late or incomplete applications will be ignored. Only shortlisted candidates will be considered for tests or interviews; no TA/DA will be provided. Our institution reserves the right to cancel, modify, or terminate the recruitment process at any time without notice.
