Hospital Pharmacy Director

As a key member of the hospital team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and optimizing the use of medications. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve hospital goals.
Responsibilities- Leadership & Supervision: Lead and supervise a team of pharmacists and technicians, conducting performance evaluations and providing coaching and development opportunities.
- Strategic Planning & Service Development: Develop and implement strategic plans for the pharmacy service, working with other departments to identify new services or areas of improvement.
- Operational Management: Oversee assigned pharmacy operations, ensuring efficient medication dispensing, stock management, and patient safety.
- Clinical Services & Patient Safety: Promote the appropriate use of medications, participate in clinical rounds, and contribute to improving patient outcomes.
- Education & Training: Develop and coordinate educational programs for pharmacy staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Financial Management: Assist with budgeting for pharmacy services, monitor drug costs, and seek cost-effective solutions.
