Job Summary

This role requires a Medical Officer to provide medical expertise and treatment to employees, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

The ideal candidate will have a strong clinical background and excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for conducting workplace risk assessments, monitoring employee health, and implementing measures to prevent work-related illnesses.

Additionally, the Medical Officer will respond to medical emergencies, provide first aid, and coordinate evacuations if necessary. They will also maintain accurate medical records, manage approved medical supplies, and staff training/development.

In this role, you will ensure adherence to local health regulations, company policies, and international medical standards. You will work independently and as part of a team, utilizing your ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide primary medical care to on-job employees, including diagnosis, first aid treatment, and referrals.
  2. Conduct workplace risk assessments, monitor employee health, and implement measures to prevent work-related illnesses.
  3. Respond to medical emergencies, provide first aid, and coordinate evacuations if necessary.
  4. Maintain accurate medical records, manage approved medical supplies, and staff training/development.
  5. Ensure adherence to local health regulations, company policies, and international medical standards.

Requirements:

  • MBBS (FCPS)/MD or equivalent medical degree.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in occupational health, general practice, or a related field.
  • Certifications: Valid medical license, BLS/ACLS certification (or equivalent).
