DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a skilled DevOps professional to lead our team in optimizing software delivery.

About the Role:

This position requires an individual with expertise in developing and maintaining efficient and reliable DevOps processes. The ideal candidate will have experience working closely with development, testing, and operations teams to ensure smooth software delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain efficient and reliable DevOps processes to streamline software delivery.
  • Automation Expertise: Develop automation scripts for deployment, monitoring, and maintenance tasks to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in collaboration with the operations team to ensure optimal system functioning.
  • Collaboration and Integration: Collaborate with developers to integrate new tools and technologies into the DevOps process to enhance software delivery.
  • Version Control Management: Manage code repositories and version control systems to ensure secure and efficient software development.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously improve existing processes to increase efficiency and productivity, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Experience with deployment tools such as Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
  • Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (Docker).
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (Nagios, Grafana) and log management systems (ELK stack).

Note: A biometric passport may be required for international travel.

Salary:

$1300 per month.

Location:

Gujrat, Pakistan.

This position involves occasional travel to client sites or conferences.
