Accounting Management Expert

The position of Accounts Payable Manager entails overseeing the day-to-day operations of the accounts payable department, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing, and adhering to established company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Department Oversight: Supervise and manage the accounts payable staff to guarantee efficient and effective payment processing.
  2. Financial Governance: Oversee functions such as general ledger maintenance, accounts payable, and project accounting to ensure precise and timely financial reporting.
  3. Policies and Procedures: Ensure that systems, policies, and procedures adhere to company standards, functioning accurately and efficiently.
  4. Payment Processing: Ensure that accounts payable and financial obligations are met in a timely and efficient manner.
  5. Tax Compliance: Oversee tax-related processes, supporting AM taxation to ensure proper tax withholding and clearing of tax GLs in software.
  6. Financial Expenditure Tracking: Monitor company financial expenditures, maintain databases, and provide reports as requested by supervisors.
  7. Payment Transaction Oversight: Oversee all payment transactions, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  8. Transaction Status Monitoring: Track the status of all transactions within the company and with external vendors and contractors.
  9. Process Standardization: Develop and implement standardized procedures to generate efficiency in-house, creating internal templates for use by the organization.
  10. Customer Service: Provide prompt and accurate communication on customer service matters.
  11. Payable Aging Minimization: Improve system compliance with policies and SOPs to minimize payable aging in accordance with agreed-upon payable terms.
  12. Advances in Aging Minimization: Ensure timely submission of bills of adjustment after internal audit to minimize advances in aging.
  13. Query Resolution: Ensure quick resolution of each query within a reasonable time frame.
