Node.js Developer Role

">Job Requirements

We are seeking a skilled Node.js Developer to join our team. As a Node.js Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining server-side applications using Node.js.

">Main Tasks

  1. Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js, ensuring scalability, efficiency, and performance.

  2. Build and manage RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications, following best practices for security and data protection.

  3. Collaborate with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic, promoting seamless user experiences.

  4. Work with databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) to design and optimize data storage and retrieval systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.

  5. Implement security best practices to protect data and applications from potential threats, including authentication and authorization mechanisms.

  6. Optimize applications for performance, scalability, and efficiency, utilizing DevOps tools and practices.

  7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers, promoting continuous improvement and learning.

  8. Troubleshoot and debug issues across the application stack, resolving problems efficiently and effectively.

  9. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in backend development, applying new skills and knowledge to enhance project outcomes.

  10. Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the application, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.

">Qualifications

  1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

  2. Strong experience with Node.js and its ecosystem (e.g., Express.js, Koa).

  3. Experience with databases such as MongoDB, MySQL, or PostgreSQL.

  4. Familiarity with version control systems such as Git.

  5. Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.

  6. Understanding of authentication and authorization mechanisms (e.g., OAuth, JWT).

  7. Familiarity with DevOps tools and practices (e.g., Docker, CI/CD).

  8. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

  9. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
