Job Title: Backend Software Engineer

We are seeking a skilled software engineer to contribute to our team at Mindsync Digital in Karachi, Pakistan.

About the Role:
  • This is an onsite, full-time position with flexible working hours and opportunities for professional growth.
  • The ideal candidate will design, develop, and implement complex software features using Python and Laravel.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement robust and efficient back-end features using Laravel.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate back-end components seamlessly.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code adhering to Laravel best practices.
  • Utilize strong database design principles and effectively manage database interactions.
  • Implement design patterns to ensure code reusability and maintainability.
  • Actively participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in Laravel and web development technologies.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience as a backend engineer with a focus on Laravel (or similar PHP frameworks).
  • Proven ability to design, develop, and implement complex software features.
  • In-depth knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and experience with database design principles.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture.
  • Solid understanding of design patterns and their effective application in software development.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • A passion for learning and staying up-to-date with the latest technologies.
