Logistics Freight Specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated Logistics Freight Specialist to act as a liaison between our customers and freight carriers. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of securing new accounts, expediting the sharing of information and documentation between customers and carriers, and communicating with dispatchers and carriers to track the status of loads.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and maintain relationships with shippers and carriers to ensure efficient transportation of goods.
  2. Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop strategies for customer retention.
  3. Collaborate with Dispatch Department, Carrier Onboarding Department and Floor Manager to achieve daily/monthly targets.

The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of freight carrier services and excellent communication skills to build relationships with customers and carriers.

Qualifications
  1. 1+ years of work experience in a similar role (i.e., Freight Broker and/or Dispatcher in Logistics and Supply Chain Management).
  2. Familiarity with transportation management software.
  3. Excellent problem-solving abilities.
  4. Demonstrated ability to meet targets.
