Developing innovative 2D games requires a unique blend of artistic and technical skills.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of game genres, latest trends in gaming, and the ability to create engaging visual experiences.

Key responsibilities include researching references and resources required to produce high-quality game assets, sketching concept designs, and building 2D environments, props, and models in line with the technical limits of the game engine.

Applying textures to all visual elements, creating efficient animation rigs, and skinning characters as per game specifications are also essential tasks.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have strong drawing skills, proficient technical skills in Photoshop, and a good level of ability in at least one or two other skill sets, such as basic UI designing or motivated passion about video games.

A team player with knowledge of 2D animation, familiarity with the principles of animation, and the ability to create special effects is highly desirable.

The selected individual will be responsible for bringing innovations to traditional game genres through new features and mechanics.
