Ophthalmology Consultant

The Aga Khan University Hospital is seeking an experienced and skilled Ophthalmology Consultant to join our team.

As an Ophthalmology Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, developing clinical programs, and collaborating with other departments to enhance multidisciplinary care.

• Attend to patients, conducting physical examinations, investigations, diagnosis, and treatment of common ailments.
• Document patient findings and communicate plans to patients and their families.
• Prescribe medication as necessary and educate patients on preventive measures to avoid medical issues.
• Develop and implement clinical programs to improve patient outcomes.

To be considered for this role, you should have a postgraduate training program in Ophthalmology or equivalent, along with two to three years of subsequent clinical and teaching experience. A subspecialty fellowship training would be advantageous. Registration with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Pakistan is mandatory.
