**Build a Future in Data Cloud Architecture**

We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect to join our Global field teams. This role requires strong technical skills and customer savvy to help customers understand and utilize the value of modern data platforms.

The ideal candidate will work hand-in-hand with Sales, Product, Engineering, and Marketing. In this role, you will collaborate directly with account sales teams on global accounts with GCCs in India to accelerate their cloud journey. The Solution Architect will provide technical expertise to make customers successful in driving existing projects and uncovering new use cases.

This role involves a broad range of skills and experience, from data architecture to ETL/ELT, data science, security, performance analysis, analytics, etc. The Solution Architect must have the ability to make connections between customer-specific business problems and data platform solutions. They will also communicate this connection and vision to various technical and executive audiences.

This is a hands-on, individual contributor role with high visibility across the organization.

The Solution Architect should be willing to jump in and do what it takes to make Snowflake and our customers successful. This means keeping up-to-date on ever-evolving technologies for data and analytics to be an authoritative resource for both Snowflake and customers.

Responsibilities include:

• Presenting data platform technology and vision to executives and technical contributors at prospects and customers.
• Working hands-on with prospects and customers to demonstrate and communicate the value of data platform technology throughout the sales cycle.
• Maintaining a deep understanding of competitive and complementary technologies and vendors and how to position the data platform in relation to them.
• Collaborating with Product Management, Engineering, and Marketing to continuously improve data platform products and marketing.
• Being an advocate and developing mutual trust with the technical audience on the customer side.
• Running training sessions, workshops, webinars to help customers become proficient in data platforms.
• Keeping customers up-to-date on key data platform updates and future roadmaps to help them represent the data platform to their clients about latest technology solutions and benefits.
• Running technical enablement programs to provide best practices and solution design workshops to help customers create effective solutions.
• Creating and developing technical champions in your accounts to drive adoption.
• Representing Snowflake at customer or industry events.
• Forward-thinking - quickly grasping new concepts and business value messaging. Sharing customer success stories & case studies to showcase the impact of the data platform.

Requirements include:

• Minimum 10+ years of experience working in customer-facing solution engineering (tech sales) roles, preferably with large Global accounts.
• University degree in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields, or equivalent experience.
• Strong competency on modern data stacks, ETL/ELT, data warehouse/lake, data science, and data apps.
• Outstanding skills presenting to both technical and executive audiences, in small groups or at public events.
• Hands-on expertise with SQL and Python.
• Experience working with large global accounts, GSIs, and/or Global Capability Centers.
• Industry experience in either BFSI, Manufacturing, Technology, or HCLS domains.
• Experience with large-scale database technology.
• Presales experience in data-related tech products.
• Sound understanding and experience in the enterprise market and technology ecosystem.

Additionally valued skills include:

• Data Science/AI/ML experience across a variety of platforms.
• Familiarity and experience with common BI and data exploration tools.
• Cloud Provider Experience - Amazon AWS/Microsoft Azure/Google Cloud.
• Data modeling and data architecture experience.
• Experience selling enterprise SaaS software to Global Accounts.
