Safeguarding Champion

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Coordinator Program Safeguarding and Risk Management to join our team in Lahore, Pakistan. As a key member of our Programme Team, you will play a critical role in shaping our safeguarding strategy and ensuring that our programmes are delivered safely and effectively.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in safeguarding, risk management, and programme delivery, with excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement a comprehensive safeguarding strategy for Better Cotton's programmes in Pakistan.
2. Conduct regular risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to prevent harm to beneficiaries and staff.
3. Work closely with programme teams to ensure that all activities are designed and implemented with safeguarding principles in mind.
4. Provide technical assistance and capacity-building support to programme staff on safeguarding and risk management.

Requirements:

• Master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., law, international development, social studies).
• At least 5 years of experience in safeguarding, risk management, or a related field.
• Proven track record of designing and implementing effective safeguarding strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with the Pakistani context and cultural nuances.
