French Linguist

We are currently recruiting for a French Interpreter and Translator based in Rawalpindi/Islamabad to work within various settings such as the health care, Legal, Educational, Immigration & Refugee services etc.

The job involves listening to, understanding and memorizing content in the original 'source' language, then reproducing the speech into the 'target' language with 100% accuracy.

• Interpret for people using legal, health and local government services
• Check the non-English speakers understanding after each sentence
• Conference, consecutive and public service interpreting
• Dealing with highly confidential information
• Liaise between the service user and service provider

• Fluent in English or another language
• BS/MS Degree in English Language, Literature, English Language Teaching (ELT) or TESOL
• Any other interpreting related qualification
• Must hold an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) certificate with an overall band score of 6.5, including a minimum of 6.0 in each individual subtest (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking)
• You will be required to sign and agree to a surety bond
• You will be required to sign and agree to a Non-Disclosure Agreement

• Training and Development in Interpreting and Translation
• Hands-on experience working in live interpretation and translation settings across sectors such as healthcare, legal, education, and immigration
