Main Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to ensure high performance, reliability, and scalability.
  • Work with structured and unstructured data from multiple sources to guarantee data availability and integrity.
  • Optimize database queries and data processing for improved performance and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and software engineers to enable data-driven decision-making and drive business outcomes.
  • Implement data models and schemas for analytical and operational use cases to support informed decision-making.
  • Support data governance, security, and compliance efforts to maintain data quality and consistency.
  • Troubleshoot and debug data-related issues to ensure data quality and consistency.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Technical skills: Proficiency in SQL and experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL), knowledge of programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL frameworks, familiarity with big data technologies like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or Kafka, exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and basic understanding of version control tools (Git) and CI/CD processes.
  • Required skills: Internship or project experience in data engineering, knowledge of data pipeline orchestration tools (Apache Airflow, Prefect), familiarity with data visualization and analytics tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker).
