Elegant Menswear Procurement Role

We are seeking a skilled procurement expert to manage the acquisition of garment accessories and trim.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and develop a team of procurement specialists responsible for garment trims, accessories, and packing material.
  • Procurement Strategy: Develop and execute a procurement strategy to obtain high-quality materials from vendors.
  • Negotiations and Communication: Negotiate with vendors regarding price, payment, and delivery terms to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate documentation of all transactions and update the ERP system accordingly.
  • Supplier Management: Introduce new suppliers to meet business requirements and evaluate vendor performance regularly.
Job Requirements
  • Vendor Evaluation: Assess vendors based on general requirements and specifications to ensure they meet our needs.
  • Material Sourcing: Ensure that all materials are sourced as per requirement and business needs, maintaining high quality standards.
  • Sample Approval: Obtain approval for samples from relevant stakeholders before proceeding with procurement to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • BOM Maintenance: Responsible for maintaining the bill of material for each order to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
  • Supply Chain Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential supply chain risks to minimize delays and costs.
