Job Description:

The role of an Immigration Consultant at a law firm involves providing legal advice and assistance to clients in navigating UK immigration laws.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to advise on immigration laws, prepare and submit applications and appeals, represent clients in tribunals, and liaise with authorities to ensure compliance.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Providing Legal Advice: Advise clients on their eligibility for various immigration categories and provide guidance on the necessary documentation and procedures.
  • Application Preparation: Prepare and submit applications and appeals on behalf of clients, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Tribunal Representation: Represent clients in tribunals and hearings, presenting their cases effectively and advocating on their behalf.
  • Liaison with Authorities: Liaise with relevant authorities to ensure compliance with regulations and to resolve any issues that may arise during the application process.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and application progress.
Requirements:
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Possess excellent communication and customer service skills to interact with clients effectively.
  • Administrative Experience: Have experience in a front desk or administrative role, preferably in a law firm or similar environment.
  • Basic Computer Skills: Be proficient in basic computer skills, including MS Office and email.
  • Professional Appearance: Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
